Mississippi native, Alan Sibley, is a multi-talented singer/songwriter/musician that began his career at the early age of fifteen. Alan approached me in mid-2010 with a request for an overhaul of his website.
Up to this point he had been using Microsoft Publisher to manual design, edit, and upload each individual change to the website. This presented a problem when the internet was unavailable or something failed to upload, as the website may become temporarily unavailable.
Using a custom design for Alan, I was able to create a website truly fit for a musician. I chose to go for a rustic/Southern design for both the logo and website design. The client loved the logo, and after a few modifications, the design was a go. I started to work on the website adding a full-page album listing with ability to preview each track and order the albums from the built-in store on Alan’s new site.
To wrap the project up, I designed a YouTube and Twitter page complete with matching design to the website. The client was pleased, and I felt like I had helped this artist establish even more his identity and create a solid presence online.
