Mr. Galen Shumaker runs a family business in Ethel, MS that deals with complete water system operations.
Before the new site, he simply had a White Pages listing online. While this is fine for contact details, he wanted to brand the image of his company more. I set to work creating a logo, website, and getting his new site hosted.
For the logo, I wanted to incorporate what his company did, not just a regular stock image that didn’t feel personal. I ended up creating a simple letter “A” with a drop of water for the horizontal piece that usually forms an A letter. Adding some blue gradient into the logo really made it stand out.
The site’s main color “blue” emphasizes the nature of the company and what they do. They also have a Facebook fan page and Twitter feed in the footer, as well as a simple listing of what they’re about and who they are.
